This research analyzes the procurement search process and proposes a search system for construction procurement utilizing a search-Aiding Mechanism. The search-Aiding Mechanism combines the concepts of keyword net and search pattern, and is capable of helping the user within the process of procurement search. The search-Aiding Mechanism will also improve itself by monitoring and recording the behavior of the user in order to provide better assistances. At last, a prototype search system will be built to illustrate the various concepts. The result of the proposed system indeed shows a better solution then exist search system in construction arena.
