Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 化學研究所 === 91 === II Synthesis and electrical/optical characterization of Amorphorous Red Fluorophores Abstract Maleimide and pyrazine-based fluorophore (structure shown in blow) with donor-acceptor substituents were designed and synthesized for tuning fluorescence wavelength into saturated red region. We utilized the nonplanar conformation that was generated by ortho-substituted aromatic ring structures for enhancing the amorphous property of the fluorophores. The absorption and fluorescence of the fluorophores were studied by UV/Visible and fluorescence spectroscopic methods. HOMO and LUMO energy levels were derived from cyclic voltametry (CV) data. The glass transtition temperature(Tg), crystal temperature(Tc) and melting point(Tm) were determined by DSC (differential scanning calorimeter) and TGA (thermogravinetric analyzer), respectively., to estimate the amorphous property and thermal stability of the fluorophores.
