The tool of the study is the questionnaire on the junior high school teachers’ attitude of retirement, which has been designed by the writer. SPSS, a software of social science statistics, is applied to the gathered data to conduct t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Canonical correlation analysis, so as to testify the thesis. As to the stress, in background variables, a discrepancy exists not in the teacher’s age, education, duty and school campus, but in sex, his/her own duty and the magnitude of his/her own school. 6. As to the coping to the stress, in backgrounds variables, a discrepancy exists not in the teacher’s sex, age, education, duty, but in the magnitude of his/her own school and school campus. 7. As to the attitude of retirement, in background variables, a discrepancy exists not in the teacher’s duty and school campus, but in sex, his/her age, education and the magnitude of his/her own school. 8.
