Questionnaires were administered to a convenience sample of 903 teachers from the middle of Taiwan. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, L.S.D., Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were utilized. Seven variables of teachers’ personal background and five variables of school background are dependent variables, and independent ones are school climates, teacher’s morale. Besides, it also examined the correlation of school climate and teacher’s morale. The conclusions of major were as follows: 1. Junior high school climates’ four styles orderly are obturation, liberty, separation, and involvement. 2. Junior high school climate: support, supervision, kindness, principal’s openness and teachers’ are as middle, while distant atmosphere is under middle. 3. For individual background, schools with more liberal atmosphere are male teachers, above fifty-one years old, with forty credits education degree, above twenty-one teaching years, and with pluralism of directors or coordinators. 4. For school background, schools with more liberal atmosphere are remote, below thirty classes, female principals, and with school history above twenty-one years. 5. The grade of liberal school is higher than the school style of involvement, separation and obturation. 6. The individual and wholly teacher’s morale of junior high school are both high. 7. For individuals, teachers with higher teacher’s morale are married, above fifty-one years old, teaching year above twenty-one years. 8. For school background, Taichung city, female, schools of twenty-one to thirty years are with higher teacher’s morale. 9. Junior high school climate and teacher morale were significant correlation. 10. Junior high school climates could significantly predict their teacher’s morale individually and wholly. 11. Teacher’s morale of school with liberal atmosphere is the highest. Based on the results of this study, some suggestions for education administrative authority and junior high school principals were offered. Besides, it provides suggestions to improve junior high school climates for promoting teacher’s morale.
