Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 林業研究所 === 91 === SUMMARY Leachability and Distribution of CCA-B Treated Makino Bamboo Bamboo is an important natural resource; it contains much more starch and carbohydrate than wood. It is vulnerable to be rotten by microorganism attacks, thus it should be appropriately treated with preservatives to prolong its life span. CCA is one of the most frequent water borne preservatives. However, the leach of CCA has endangered human body and caused environment pollution. The purpose of this study is to use CCA-B as a preservative to treat Makino bamboo. The treated bamboo is ground to powders which are through 20 mesh. Each experiment condition will have two replicates. After determining its moisture content, weighed about 2g of O.D.weight of bamboo powder into a 125ml erlenmeyerflask and added 50ml of distilled water, then used the shaker incubator to shake it with the speed of 200rpm. The water will be changed once per day and the content of As、Cr and Cu in the CCA will be tested. This study uses ICP and SEM SEM-EDS to test the loss of each element and the distribution of chemicals respectively. The results are as following: 1.While Makino bamboo treated with CCA-B, the magnitude of average loss of As、Cr、Cu differed in three sections each day .Through variation analysis it showed leachability magnitude of As、Cr、Cu of CCA at part of the sample, the large end section >small end section >middle end section。 2.The drug decrease within treated Makino bamboo of each section will shaply during the early few days, then the average daily loss measure will maintain constant. 3.By using SEM it was found that the penetration of CCA was through long tndinal direction predominatly, the transverse penetration is limited. 4.By using SEM-EDS it was found that the presence of CCA was true.
