Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 91 === A feasible image hiding scheme is proposed in this thesis. The goal is to obscurely deliver some valuable images via a JPEG file which can be considered as cover-media. The secret images are first compressed by vector quantization and then embedded into the JPEG file by modifying its quantized coefficients and quantization factors in some invertible way. The stego-file keeps the JPEG syntax, which can be displayed by any standard JPEG decoder, without noticeable distortion on the common inspection by interceptors. However, a legal receiver with a key can completely extract the secret information while restoring the size and quality of the JPEG file to initial conditions. The size and image quality of the watermarked JPEG file may change, and some experiments regarding the quality and number of secret images are conducted in this thesis. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed idea is accurate. JPEG files can be used for covert communication.
