The large-scale development of environment causes the urban climate becoming warming and warming . And it forms the phenomenon of “Heat Island effect”,“Urban high temperature effect”,“Greenhouse effect”. Every summer , while walking on the street in Hualien City , people can feel the “Heat Wave” phenomenon distinctly . This uncomfortable feeling will make you lose the fun for walking .
Hualien City belongs to the patterns of the coastal city . The east faces the ocean and the west faces the mountain. Therefore , the Heat-Island Effects is less distinct than the metropolis , such as Taipei , Taichung and Kaohsiung . Moreover , the density of population and the degree of urbanization are also less concentrated than the western areas in Taiwan .
However , the streets in Hualien City are covered with plenty of impermeable pavement in marble . It causes the loss of the function and low coefficient of permeable and soil water retention . It also causes the incapability of water storage of soil in building site , and the loss of the function of adjustment of micro climate .
Moreover , the greened effect in Hualien City is also one of the factors which causes the high temperature in urban areas . The scale of greened density in Hualien City , toward the adjustment and improvement of the urban micro climate is also another discussive subject of debate.
This research is to study the reason of high temperature in urban areas and to suggest a policy to improve the phenonmenon for example of raining storage and greened density in Hualien City. And this research compares the temperature of the impermeable pavement with that of the permeable pavement differcnce in humidity .
Moreover , this research compares the temperature of the high greened efficiency with that of the greened efficiency and the difference in humidity . The above results will be the demonstrable database for this research .
Furthermore , researcher will take the measure to improve the high temperature in urban areas . The reasonable measure can be taken as the urban plans . For researcher , it will be the concern and practice toward the environmental policy in Hunlien City .
