The researcher himself was the central subject of this study, observing, studying, and self-introspecting his management process as principal of Chiau-Hsan Elementary School in City Hsin-Chu. The Three purposes of this study were as follows.
1.Describing his practical knowledge on education and how it
transformed into actions, strategies, and actual functions in
Chiau-Hsan Elementary School.
2.To state how the researcher leads the organization down the
path of study during management process.
3.Understanding current teacher, administration, and parents’
viewpoints, to introspect the differences between beliefs and
realization in order to achieve higher goals.
Due to the change of the researcher’s role, he has realized the importance between belief and praxis, but actually the differences remain. The researcher honored to have this opportunity to be at first base of education, given the chance to understand the causes of these differences. Knowing one’s own weakness is a power, The researcher hoped to acquire a strategy suitable for Chiau-Hsan Elementary School to confront the problems, organizing the power of colleagues, parents, and himself, The researcher used the students as the “subjects”of the school, executing problem solving strategy to make Chiau-Hsan a lively elementary school.
To build the educational foundation of Chiau-Hsan Elementary School, for 1155 days the researcher write down the essay in autobiography form of how researcher here, my purpose of being here, and for what the researcher here, and the process of actualization through interviews, records, information gathering and proving. The researcher hopes to become a righteous principal, and the Chiau-Hsan Elementary School would become a motivate professional, competitive, growing and excellent school.
