The purpose of this study is to develop a proper language learning classroom model for 5-6 grades at elementary school in Taiwan. The experimental teaching is conducted for two years. The process included stuff developing classes, mid-term and final meeting with the researchers, guest speaker lecturing, and presentation of teaching experiences. The data included literature review, classroom journal, interviews of the teachers, the recording, teachers’ classroom journal, interviews of the teachers, the work of the young children, and the parents observation experience from the children. The findings include the followings. (1) It is possible that whole-language teaching model teach at 5-6 grades at the elementary school. (2) There are many difficulties have to solve before your teaching that with whole-language teaching. (3) The researcher gets his knowledge from the process that included literature review, teaching process, and making a self-examination. (4) The attitude of the parents and the administration department can Influence the effects between the process of teaching. If the parents and the administration department can help teacher during the process, it would can get better effect.
