Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 資訊管理所 === 91 === Previous research suggests that an eventual information technology (IT) success depend on its both initial usage and subsequent continued usage of an IT.IT continuing use (continuance) has been considered to be critical to the IS success. IS researchers have applied Planned Behavior Theory (TPB) to the study of users’ initial IT acceptance and of users’ IT continuance intention. Inconsistent results occurred in the TPB studies of IT continuance phase. Recently, satisfaction with prior use and confirmation of expectation following prior use were found to be important in forming users’ intention to continue using IT. This study examines the antecedents of users’ IT continuance intention using an extended TPB model, which integrates attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control from TPB, and satisfaction with prior use, confirmation of expectation following prior use from Expectation-Confirmation of Theory (ECT). To examine how these cognitive beliefs and affect influence one’s intention to continue using WWW applications. Data were collected 240 questionnaires of the selected top 40 web sites in Taiwan. The results indicate that the research model provides a reasonably good fit to the data.
