By adopting interpretative research method, data were collected by interview, a opened and a two-tier diagnostic assessment instrument by 4th to 6th grade. The results showed that child’s thinking about inheritable material affects their preconceptions. They offen likes to use some words, like DNA, Gene, inheritance, evolation… that they even don’t understand to answer guestions.
