Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 91 === Abstract Shu-Fen Wang is a newborn Children’s Literature writer in the past few years. Her works have been very popular among adults and children readers since her first work《New Students are Having Many Interesting Things》was published in 1993. The most remarkable works of her are the six school life stories which describe the life of elementary school--《New Students are Having Many Interesting Things》、《Second Grade Boy Suen U Kong》《The Matching of Boys and Girls》《The Troubles of Forth Grade Students》《The Eleven-years-old are Having Lots of Opinions》《The Storm of Twelve-years-old》.She wrote “Telling one’s real life” stories for each grade of elementary school students. At the same time, she preserved the first-hand records of Taiwan’s present educational situation of 90’. These six books are funny and humorous, but they contain satire on the present education situation. This thesis obtains materials from her series of six Children’s School Life Stories. The writer analyzes and studies her works by text analytic method. The purpose of this research includes the literature expression way of her writing motivation, materials resources, writing technique, character depicting, and language usage, and then concludes what are the author’s creative style and characteristics. Through this research, we can see that this series of Children’s School Life Stories catch the essence of children’s campus culture successfully. They express the school life from one to six grades faithfully. With her profound observation and the management of words, she collects everything happened in school, and then connects them to living, interesting and vivid stories. At the same time, she hides her profound observation and wholehearted advice behind her humorous style, and trying to guide adult readers into children’s world to understand what they are thinking. In a word, children are attracted by her stories, and adults read the meaning behind them. That’s why Shu-Fen Wang’s works are so charming.
