(五)the compare in teaching styles. The result from comparison is those differences more than similar parts. There are new discoveries in this study to conclude as followings: 一、The compare between growth and time period background (一)The same:They all grew in the war period of China, they were students went to Taiwan after leaving their homelands. After graduated from the National Taiwan Normal University, they all studied in America to pursue advanced study. After their returning to Taiwan, they became the artists and also taught in the universities as outstanding teachers. Their Chinese culture and Chinese history deeply influenced them and they also serious thinking to the new directions to the tradition Chinese painting. Because of the influence of the time period, personal growth background and personal characteristics difference, each of them innovated their new painting styles. (二) The difference:Lio is a soldier’s child and had been follow the troopers to everywhere. He didn’t receive formal art lessons until his university period. He also had taught in the Chinese University of Hong Kong with the high responsibility to pass on the knowledge. Chen was born in merchant’s home, rich and wealthy. He first touched art at his high school period. He had taught in the National Taiwan Normal University and carried the responsibility to educate the future teachers. Ho was born in small and isolate city and is a son of a labor worker, simple and honest. He receive West painting skill training curriculum during his high school period. He had taught in the TAIPEI National University of the Arts to educate future artists. They shows the obvious impact from 「America culture」、「local Taiwan culture」、「Chinese mainland culture」. Lio’s Chinese abstract style painting initially because America’s culture influence during post-war period and innovated from post-modern concept. Chen’s local-life painting style started from industry and commerce rapid growth and the look back in one’s homeland after lost in the material chase. Ho heart imagines painting style is from the limit of poor, and yet also the desire to break from the limits due to the influence from master, and shows the free minded expression. 二、A comparison among the concept’s styles (一)Comparison among the art concepts 1. The similarity:They all pay much attention to the entirely art’s modern ideas, fit into modern idea’s innovate art view. They all join in Confucian idea and Taoist idea and also focus the harmonious of being one with the nature and self-subjective point of view concept. 2. The difference:Lio emphasis Taoist’s view of nature and universe, and also had modernism concept. Chen shows the kindness of Confucian human and nature side also had western realism, democracy, and post-modern idea. Ho’s idea is close to the Taoist’s nature idea that human should fit with nature and also romantic idea and pessimism. (二) comparison among the idea of aesthetics 1. The similarity:They all pay attention in being one with the nature idea and also the thoughts of mind. They all trying to show the beauty and good art thinking and emphasis in the feeling’s aesthetics idea. 2. The difference:Lo thinks the art is more a passive instance feeling and search the abstract pure truth, he is more an abstract showing style of art. Chen thinks art is a showing of feeling and search for the truth in life, he is a realism nature style of art. Ho thinks beauty is the join in mind and material and thinks fantasy is more close to the truth than real life, he is a super realism style of art. (三) comparison among the painting concept 1. The similarity:They all believe the Chinese painting’s definition should emphasis in Chinese idea and stick to nation’s culture. They pay attention in showing the whole Chinese idea in the painting and also catch the chance to break trough the tradition. They also specially notice the Chinese literature’s training and culturing also focus in basic painting skills’ training and want the painting to be good and also different at the same time. 2. The difference:Lo’s Chinese painting is define as modern Chinese painting and is more adapting western painting ideas to existing Chinese painting. Chen’s Chinese painting is use some of the old idea and western idea in his modern Chinese painting. Ho’s modern Chinese painting is more in keeping the Chinese painting form and use western method, his painting is more keeping the traditional form and yet critical and inherit rage in spirits of the paintings. 三、comparison in the painting’s styles (一) forms and techniques 1. The similarity:They all spending lots work in search and analysis the form and techniques and also spend lots time in studying the modern western painting forms and techniques and had been benefited from it. Therefore, they are able to break through the traditional painting and studying in form and technique and always come up with new form or new techniques. 2. The difference:Lo is more into constructing and always has abstract lines and “flow” forms and also specialize in using lights and pay attention in automatic forming. Chen is more into hand drawing and using simplify mountains shaped which are round and no rough edges. He also uses variety of colors to show the pure color ness and the true look alike. Ho is more in using the describe method and using subjective changing human form and in turns of color is mostly using black and white or add to light single color and pay attention in creating full painting showing. (二) contents and topics 1. The similarity:All of their creations are full with spirit contains and use less actually contains. Their creations are hidden with their art philology and rich in emotional expression and also show their unique signatures of the cultures that they inherited. 2. The difference:Lo’s harmony, quiet, joy, nature, ever existing contains are all party of universal life philology contain. Chen’s human, innocence, nature and realist contains are all part of his realist contains. Ho’s loneness, sublimity, bitter life contains are all part of his emotional and life experiences’ showing. 四、Comparison between arts teaching ideas and teaching styles (一)In teaching ideas and teaching material aspect 1. The similarity:Their teaching idea basically is creativity and personal character building. And the teaching materials will depends on students interesting, mind and body development and change accordingly. 2. The difference:They all have their unique view in teaching. Lo bring out the idea of first different then good thinking. Chen is focus in art design lesson and it’s position in art education. Ho focuses in Chinese base lessons and think they are necessary. (二) In teaching method aspect 1. The similarly:They all emphasis in repaid practice method and also emphasis in self thinking and respect each and every one unique respect. 2. The difference:Lo emphasis in practice method and use automatic innovate teaching method. He also teaches explains, demonstrates, practices and encourage free trying. Chen encourage students to make mistakes, actual hands on trying, and also emphasis in individual teaching and change method depends on each student’s situation. He also demonstrates, explains, ask questions and really emphasis in the flexibility of the teaching method. Ho emphasis in preparation of the projects and his critical teaching method is specially emphasis in questions and answers and also discussion and presentations. 五、Suggestions The future topics can work on abstract, real, mind, and fantasy combinations and think of art’s constructional or deconstruction, idea or behavior art and it’s possibility developing room in future. Developing studying in personal uniqueness, localize, Asia aspect, modern combinations new styles.
