(2) comprehend the overall suggestions of the above involved teachers on the Arts and Humanities curriculum revolution. (3) explore the differentences between varied background data. The research methods of this study were based on documentation analysis followed by questionnaire survey. The main findings of this study are as follows: (1) Currently, only 43% teachers have related professional background. (2) Currently, curriculum planning in the Learning Area of Arts and Humanities mainly rely on unexamined resources provided by textbook salesmen. Approximately 50% schools hold related meetings regular during and after each semester. (3) Currently, 47% elementary schools implement the Arts and Humanities learning area curriculum in curriculum planning and distributing; 52% elementary schools implement separate curriculum teaching; 31% elementary schools implement team-teaching based on specific professional background; 78% elementary schools are seriously in lack of qualified Arts and Humanities professionally equipped teachers. (4) Most Arts and Humanities teachers think of the current teaching hours arranged for the learning area of the Arts and Humanities as inadequate. (5) Most Arts and Humanities teachers rely on textbooks in teaching, however, an adequate evaluation system is yet to be established. (6) The current continuing studies offered for teachers are not highly appreciated; 59% teachers are not willing to attend the related academic activities held by the education bureau. (7) The majority of teachers find it difficult applying the Arts and Humanities curriculum due to the following factors: inadequate professional capability; lack of ideal and practical coordination; short of curriculum preparation time; furthermore, the apparent nature difference between visual arts, music and performing arts. Finally, the author offers suggestions based on her own practical teaching observation and experience.
