Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 91 === The purpose of doing this project (research) is for learning and recording the experiences of four native Taiwanese principals. This research includes the revolution of the elementary school, the principal’s personal life since they were born, and the adoption and the variation of the environment. To know the experience and the concept (idea) of education of the four principal’s with an objective assessment, also to probe into the barrier and to aid achievement in education with the concern of adoption and the learning process in the main stream. This research uses the life history of studying the quality research methods and focuses on the first resources by seeking, asking questions, and collecting data. The principals have thoroughly explained their own explanations of personal education, the experience conducting their educational revolution, and also have pointed out no other options, but trying to fit into this system of the education main stream and being pushed to accept the assimilation as a minority. The research describes whether they have a special background, personality, and changes their life as a turning point or a key personage in the process of reaching their degree and their career. It can also be found by encountering their own culture of the native Taiwanese and the major’s and how they conquer their hindrance. The research is found as following: 1. With the factor of being a native Taiwanese minority, their personality, and how they adapt themselves with the outside environment is much more important than being influenced by their family or their own culture. 2. The motivation of attempting to succeed and identification of themselves is the key factor. 3. According to the speech of Super by the native Taiwanese principals, the development of self conscious about growing up (since born to the fourteenth ), they did not feel frustrated by the contact with the Han people, so they are more assimilated with the major group. 4. The excellent achievement deepens the identification and makes them more proud of their own group. 5. The appreciation of being a minority prompts their strong mission to repay the society, glory, and to develop their own culture. 6. Studying at the teacher college is an honor and leading the native Taiwanese society into a positive educational value, so they have no doubts when first deciding to go for their career. 7. The success factor is through the guide and the inspiration by the elementary and the high school teachers. Based on the above research, the researchers have clarified the suggestion to the policy, the method, and the future prospects in education. 1. The suggestion to the policy: The adding points to the minority in CEEC causing the conflicts and the misunderstandings with the majority. To suggest the correct favored adding points to the minority policy of independent competition among the native Taiwanese instead of adding points for taking seats from the Hans in order to reconcile the race conflicts. 2. The suggestion to the enforcers: A. Building the characteristics of different races on campus. B. Reducing the ideology of the class or the rank. C. Teachers should give more positive attention to the kids. D. The authority should cultivate and diverse the teachers. 3. The suggestion to the future prospect A. Research on the affect of the class among the native Taiwanese. B. Research on planning the people who were devoting themselves early for their lives and not adapting to the environment well. C. Research on the health and the marriage of the native Taiwanese.
