The researcher modified the similarity coefficient and connectivity coefficient, which was raised by Yamashita et al. (1994). In addition, the similarity coefficient also involved the characteristics of latent trait and response probability, which were gotten from item response theory. Based upon the geometry concepts theory of VHL, the researcher analyzed the knowledge structure of quadrangle concepts for sixth-graders. In the results of pathfinder analysis, it showed that there were significant difference in closeness index PFC and abilities between different VHL styles of students. As compared to referenced knowledge structure, the higher level of VHL was, the more similar the test-takers knowledge structure was. This research could provide advanced understanding about quadrangle knowledge structures of VHL. Finally some suggestions and commendations for further research were discussed.
