| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學研究所 === 91 === Analysis of Timoshenko beams are conducted using the spline collocation ( interpolation ) method ( SCM ) , which have been studied and illustrated in this paper in order to be easily applied for engineers . The B splines value table is originately set up in this paper, which is easily to be used and suggested to be applied in analyzing the structures with any form of loading and boundary conditions. Results are compared with those obtained by the differential quadrature method (DQM) and available analytic results. Very good results are obtained so that we can expect to develop this method further for more complicated structures.
