碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 森林學研究所 === 91 === ABSTRACT Here in Taiwan, we have special geography features, such as: fragile geology, precipitous landforms, short river and rapid stream. About 3/4 of our land are slopeland. Falls and erosions are easily brought by downpour, followed with typhoon, and frequent earthquake, and make environmental disasters. Our recent GNP have more than USD13,000.-, and encouraged by the two days off weekly, people’s life will change from “labor age” to “leisure age”. In viewing of regulations and environmental protection, this study will confer widely and making improvement in respect of the establishment of leisure farms and defect of recent regulations. By using: (a) revisement of relative regulations relating to the establishment of resort farms, exactly approval for slopeland development and seriously supervise already-developed areas, (b) cooperate for operators and experts between soil and water conservation and ecological environment, (c) the operating of resort farms should contained both sense and knowledgement, pay attention to good quality service and environment protection, to reduce air pollution and noise to create the future of Taiwan’s agriculture industry. The Union Nation have announced this year as “International ecological tour year”, that is to emphasize their effort to join the concept of ecological and leisure tour under the background of sustainable development. To integrate “life, produce, ecology” and under promoting of government, Taiwan’s agriculture industry will be unfolded before the world’s eyes.
