Wireless networks should be integrated with Internet because of its important role which is the endpoint for people to access Internet. Wireless communication makes network life easier. For the next generation of the networks, there’s also an emergent requirement of QoS provision for people to use variable network applications. Because the properties of wireless communications are different from traditional wired networks, such as channel variability, limited bandwidth, and low power consumption requirements, it introduce many new challenges especially on QoS issues like service differentiation, bandwidth management and admission control. This paper mainly focuses on the wireless properties and network applications. We believe that the packet scheduling for wireless networks should consider both properties of wireless channel and application's requirements. Not only effectively utilizing the wireless bandwidth, but also meet the different application's requirements and provide QoS guarantee. We propose a new packet scheduling which integrated our new ideas of compensation policy with previous related works, such as compensation scheme and bidirectional control of wireless bandwidth. Finally we have a complete simulation to evaluate and verify it. Keywords - Wireless Local Networks、Packet Scheduling、Quality of Service、Consider Application State、IEEE 802.11 Yeali S.
