It has not been used for three decades because of the regulation that banned the utilization of the groundwater. On the other hand, Taipei resident has been suffering from drought during these two years because of the climate change. It has been suggested that the development of groundwater resources in Taipei Basin is one of the most effective solutions. In order to utilize groundwater resources efficiently, the spatial distribution of hydrogeological parameters should be estimated first. In the past, the observation network stations of groundwater were established to analyze parameters of the aquifer, but the data is not enough due to insufficient funding. The results of the hydrogeological parameters and the zonation were not so accurate. In this research, the Simulated Annealing Algorithm, the Nearest-Neighborhood Algorithm, and the PROCESSING MODFLOW are combined to establish a model to get spatial distribution of hydrogeological parameters. There have ten known hydraulic conductivity values which are used to divide several regions analysis in Taipei Basin. After many numerical analyses and verified with the data of groundwater level of A.D. 2000, Taipei Basin can be derived that the optimal zonation in dividing ten regions.
