First, we simply introduce what’s variable digital filters and its application, then we adopt polynomial-based and sinusoid-based to implement 1-D and 2-D fractional group delay filter and 1-D filter capable of fractional group delay and variable magnitude simultaneously. Both the optimal coefficient and performance comparison list in the end of each chapter. For supplying to other researchers who interest in variable digital filters, we append lots of figures and proof that the algorithms are correct at the same time.
