We address the theory of radiation, design methods of these four antennas. The software tool IE3D is used to perform antenna design. Both the simulation results and experimental results are discussed in detail.
An equivalent circuit model is proposed to represent the patch antenna which reduces the computation time in IE3D software simulation.
