To this end, an extensive investigation mainly includes interviews, observations and participation in the programs held by the club has been implemented. With significant information provided by three senior clubbers, hence, a brief finding about the club is shown below: First of all, only male whose age is 18 and over with the capability to take on the challenges of running in mountainous areas is eligible to join in the club. Secondly, all the scheduled activities are determined through internal planning and discussion by the club crew which members are re-elected annually. The number of selected crew has increased from merely 5 initially to 21 members today with more sophisticated duty assignment to secure the organization’s operation. Thirdly, funds for operation of the club are primarily contributed from the membership dues and the clubbers’ subscriptions; and the major spending which accounts for the greatest proportion of annual expenses comes from the consumption of foods and water provided throughout campaigns. Fourthly, all the participants of the jagging club include not only those predominate clubbers but also a number of crew who are highly passionate and devoted towards the club. On the other hand, the club has devised diversified routes weekly for mountain climbing and running activities with offering free water and foods for participants. Other services provided by the club also including publishing weekly periodical, holding party, gathering and special running campaigns. As the results of the features mentioned above, a more concrete profile is thereby being depicted below: Taipei Hash Jogging Club is a non-profit leisure union of which formed with people who enjoy outdoor exercises particularly in mountain-climbing and running. The club possesses a well-functioning system by allocating responsibilities and resources to the right place and the right one. The application of club’s funds is thoroughly following the principle of ‘what is taken from the people is used in the interests of the people’. Above all, numbers of voluntary and enthusiastic crew have been playing a crucial role along the way in the progress of the club. Lastly, the ultimate goal of Taipei Hash Jogging Club is to ensure clubbers can be benefited both physically and mentally from taking a part of activities masterminded and held by the club.
