Description
Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 91 === The previous researches related with Asset Specificity focused on the law-formed Governance mechanism, and lowered the opportunism which was caused by the establishment of Asset Specificity among the partners. However, most domestic IT sectors were medium-size, the uncoordinated power rarely happened. Moreover, they cannot compete with international firms. In order to confront the threats, many firms apply industrial network to compete. Therefore, it develops the Governance mechanism which is not law-formed, and makes the partners control each other by long term cooperation. Furthermore, it can decrease the transaction cost and increase the cooperative flexibility. However, the use of the Governance mechanism that is not law-formed, it would have different influences caused by the relationship between the partners. Therefore, the variable Relationship Life Cycle is used to investigate the influence of Governance mechanism and Asset Specificity. The results indicate that applying Governance mechanism to the establishment of Asset Specificity does has positive effects. Instead, it would not differ significantly with the interference of different Relationship Life Cycle. Besides, it also shows that whatever Dedicated Specificity or Synthesized Specificity must adopt high control Relationship Strategy. Moreover, high control Relationship Strategy is positively related to the performance of the relationship and the cost of it.
