And build up partner relationship among Clinical Diagnostic Lab (CDL) in hospital and CDL suppliers. The study focus on process of industry supply chain to survey cooperation interface. Select one foreign supplier, one agent, one distributor and five clients (hospitals) for study topics. It shows on operation inefficiency in the industries. The study considers supply chain integration should follow those strategic themes as below: Dedicate to pursue the effective implementation of the specialization, e-Business model, integration and economy of scale for the R&D, production, marketing & sales, logistics and clinical diagnosis processes in the clinical diagnosis lab supplies channel. The analysis formwork of this thesis is on the basis of the specialization, e-Business model, integration and economy of scale to develop strategic themes which focus on physical distribution flow, information flow, organization structure and improved economic efficiency. . After studied with academic experts and professional managers of health care industry, the conclusions were developing six strategic themes and generalized to two strategic themes. In demand end of CDL, hospital should improve their management mechanism in short term. In order to reduce total inventory cost and improve operation efficiency, hospitals should integrate a great number of hospitals into consolidating Diagnostic Lab center in long term. On the other hand, the supply end of CDL provides One-Stop-Shopping service through e-business platform of virtual integrated organization to provide more convenience service of demand end of CDL. After supply chain integration, the suppliers provide the add-value service for demand end will incomparable with other relative competitors.
