碩士 === 世新大學 === 觀光學研究所(含碩專班) === 91 === The issues of international marriage have been broadly discussed. The studies of the problems of Foreign Brides in Taiwan have shown a growing trend. Yet, the research on the social problems Chinese Brides is still limited. The issues of leisure behavior among Chinese Brides are not explored. Leisure is not only good for body and mental health, but also reflects personal social class and power. For women, leisure can convince them to understand themselves and relationship between sexualities. The purpose of this study is to explore the difference of Chinese Brides’ leisure attitude and leisure participation patterns between before and after their immigration to Taiwan and also how perception of international immigration, life cycle, and social support influences Chinese Brides’ leisure attitude and leisure participation patterns. This study focuses on Chinese Brides in North Taiwan. This investigation was to firstly interview ten Chinese Brides based on a qualitative analysis of in-depth, secondly use the result of previous analysis to build up quantitative questionnaire and in the end, use the convenient sample approach to get the quantitative data. The finding shows that after their immigration to Taiwan, Chinese Brides’ leisure attitude and leisure participation patterns has changed, compare to before, and the factor of their perception on international immigration would strongly influence both of the Chinese Brides’ leisure attitude and leisure participation patterns. Also, the difference of their perception on social support factor would influence Chinese Brides’ leisure attitude but not leisure participation patterns. However, the difference of their perception on life cycle factor couldn’t influence both Chinese Brides’ leisure attitude and leisure participation patterns.
