Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 化學工程系碩士班 === 91 === Traditional controller tuning is executed by using a set of tuning formula to calculate the three parameters of controller. However, if the user want to know the stability of the control system, the user must do an additional calculation which is very complicated and elaborate. But when the control system demands both the gain and phase margin to be greater than certain values, the calculation becomes very complicated. The objective of this research is to provide users with a simple and practical tuning formula including parameters of gain margin with which the user can calculate three parameters and phase margin of the control system, which will meet the requirement of gain margin. Another controller tuning method is using ultimate gain and ultimate period of the system, with the Ziegler and Nichols tuning table. This research also investigates the worst gain margin and phase margin of the first order time delay process. Furthermore, this research also provides the practical rules of how to raise the gain and phase margin of control system.
