It is vital to keep users oriented so that they have both a general understanding of the situation and the specific information to make decisions on the execution of tasks. Therefore, interactive web applications not only maintain entity-view consistency, but also support task decomposition and execution. This paper proposes a software architecture based on MVC and PAC for interactive web application. We use MVC to maintain entity-view consistency and PAC to support task decomposition and execution. We compare current design models for web application and demonstrate how the proposed architecture can be incorporated into these models.
