Because many monitoring and analysis systems on the market can analyze barely their recording data on the location where they are placed and only can be used on the specific computer. Therefore, this study will improve the inconvenience and shortcoming of those systems to develop a monitoring and analysis system for power systems that possesses a high mobile and efficient character. Recently, the techniques of wireless network have been matured. Furthermore, this study applies the PDA to develop a real-time monitoring and analysis for power systems based on wireless network. The system displays by graphic user interface (GUI) on the PDA, let user can read easily, quickly and clearly. So far, this study has implemented the system frequency, the voltage and current, power, power factor, 3-phase voltage and current unbalanced factors and the harmonics monitoring and analysis systems.
