That can dramatically increase the performance characteristics in a wireless communication system. We use the adaptive direction-of-arrival (DOA) algorithm, MUSIC, to archive the tracking location goal. But the DOA algorithm is proposed in a narrowband system. In a wideband system, the wideband frequency-selective fading will diminish the DOA performance. In order to overcome this problem, we introduce the OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) architecture to combat the wideband frequency-selective fading. In other words, the OFDM system can transferred a wideband frequency-selective fading into a combination of several narrowband flat fading channels. Thus, the DOA algorithm that proposed for the narrowband environment, like the MUSIC algorithm, can be applied to each narrowband system. 林信標 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 72 zh-TW
