Based on the opinions collected from interviews with experts in enterprises, a modified-Delphi questionnaire was developed. The modified-Delphi survey was conducted during the spring of 2003 and the Delphi experts were 10 directors related to the finance management in different enterprises. After 3 rounds of Delphi survey, the conclusions were made as followed: 1) There were 3 categories for the requirements of professional competencies which were Trait and Attitude, Knowledge, and Skill. Under these categories, there were 93 professional competencies items. 2) Trait and Attitude was the most required category for Finance Program students. 3) The most important professional competencies items were the Ability to Think Tactics, Morality, the Skill for Market Analysis, Raising Funds, Fund Regulation and the Knowledge of Currency and Capital. 4) The highest required professional competencies items were Morality, the Ability to Against Pressure, the Professional Finance English, the Skill for Raising Funds, and the Knowledge of Currency and Capital.
