The system was based on the concept of portfolio assessment and characteristics of Internet. The research method included: literature analysis, survey research method and system development approach. Applying the theory of the Prototyping software technology, through the three phases: analysis, design, development, the system was constructed. This study selects four elementary science classes, two from the fourth grade and two from the fifth grade, as the research samples that conduct the Digital portfolio Assessment. To elevate this system’s function, effectiveness and its influence on elementary students’ learning of nature science and technology as well as student’s attitude and opinions toward this system, several practical methods are manipulated, such as, surveying those samples to appraise this system, investigating attending samples, both teachers and students, by issued those questionnaires, correspondingly, interviewing five students which selected at random. The findings of this research were summarized as follows: 1. Practicing Digital Portfolio Assessment has a positive influence on students’ science learning process. 2. Digital Portfolio Assessment is a suitable Portfolio Assessment tool to evaluate students’ science learning process. 3. The Student Behavior Record helps teacher and researcher to trace student’s learning. 4. Portfolio System increases student’s interest and confidence of learning nature science. 5. The availability of computers and Internet at home and ability of students’ computer literacy as well as the length of the computer using time are crucial for Digital Portfolio Assessment’s perfect performance.
