The research employed both content analysis and interview methods to do this study. The research done for the thesis focuses on three major aspects: Firstly, understanding the distributed proportion of the dimension in knowledge, ability, attitude, and participated action in Global Education in four different textbooks. Secondly, comparing the similarity and the differences in knowledge, ability, attitude, and participated of action of Global Education in four different textbooks. Thirdly, compare the distributed proportion among the knowledge, ability, attitude and participated action of Global Education in all of the four different textbooks. From the above, the main results were synthesized as follows: 1.The five contents with the highest proportions in the knowledge aspect of Global Education, in all of the four different textbooks are cultural exchange, world history, multi cultures in a global village, world geography and ecological problems in the world. 2.The three contents of higher proportion in the ability aspect of Global Education in all of the four different textbooks are reading ability, thinking ability, communication and expression, and sharing ability. 3.Two of the same contents appear in four different textbooks - care about human welfare and to cultivate, respect, tolerate, and appreciate the diversity among the cultures in the world. 4.The content that introduces the students to the people who contribute themselves for the world always appears in the articles and illustrations of the textbooks; the contents that introduce the students to how to participate in the world and contribute to the world always appear in the illustration in the textbooks and in the student workbooks. 5.The highest proportion among the knowledge, ability, attitude and participated action of Global Education in all four of the different textbooks is the knowledge aspect, and the lowest aspect is the participated action aspect. As for ability aspect and attitude aspect in the four different textbooks, there are some differences in sequence. In the NANI and KNSH textbooks, the proportion in ability aspect is higher than attitude aspect. In the national official and Hanlin textbooks, the proportion in attitude aspect is higher than ability aspect.
