The dentistry is now facing unprecedented competitions. The rapid shift of the environment makes many small clinics close, and those striving to survive cannot but seek solutions. In addition to the diversification of medical services, some dental clinics have started trying to make new agreements with other organizations. They expect that by forming strategic alliances, clinics can lower their costs and then improve the getting-worse operating situation. But the strategic alliance is not a cure-all of management strategy, The research has also showed that alliances are difficult to manage and that half the alliances formed end up as failures. The major purpose of this study is to investigate key failure factors of H dentistry alliance. After that we try to develop the propositions and give the suggestions for this study. The failure factors of H alliance are summarized as follows: 1. The short of Patients 2. The high cost of manpower 3. Lack of shared vision or farsightedness 4. Too busy for dentists 5. The affection of individualism 6. The affection of health insurance 7. The affection of educational background 8. The short of finances According to analysis of case research the study develops three important propositions by inductive reasoning: Proposition 1.The self-provided dental clinic made the operating strategy of alliance run to failure. Proposition 2. Lack of farsightedness and individualism affect the development of dentistry alliance. Proposition 3. The finance had played an important role in development of the alliances According to the case study results and propositions, we give the research suggestions of this study to be as follows: 1. The managerial skills of dentist should give instruction. 2. Learning how to plan for a successful alliance. 3. The integration of financing resource 4. How to play an key role in future strategic alliances
