With the parameter formula, the program can create the 2D projection views of the components automatically. The system displays a dialogue control panel while executing the Visual LISP program. The dialogue control panel provides a variety of interfaces, information and the related items of the program. Using the DCL function, operating panel can be built and the appointed view will be accomplished in a jiffy by means of the Visual LISP programming language. The part’s libraries includes twelve kinds of mechanical libraries: the hexagon nuts, the hexagon bolts, the square nuts, the square head bolts, the T-bolts, the hexagon socket head bolts, the slotted screw, the washers, the ball bearings, the sliding sleeves, the parallel pins and the taper pins. It also includes a DIY function, which can let the user create a component in a nonstandard size. The components -database can connect different kinds of drafting domains depending on the user’s needs, for instance, mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering and electrical engineering. After the completion of the part’s libraries, the system not only makes the process of drafting with computer easier, clearer, and faster, but it also eliminates the difficulties in drafting.
