| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士班 === 91 === Web Applications are becoming increasingly important, a suitable methodology for development Web applications not only increases the flexibility but also reduces the cost of developing them. Traditional software development methodologies are difficult to fulfill the requirements of developing Web Applications. The goal of this research is to design and develop a visual Web developing environment that can integrate the design, analysis, development, and maintenance of Web applications. These phases are integrated by allowing programmers to draw design diagrams and using them to write program files associated with icons of the design diagrams. As a result, they can express the design and file structure of a program using the same visual representation. This uniformed representation not only allows developers to communicate system requirements with users but also allows them to reduce the maintenance cost of Web Applications. This development environment is platform independent, environment independent, and programming language independent. In addition, it can also support the development of Web Service.
