Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 文化資產維護系碩士班 === 91 === Lu-Ban is the founder of woodworking. And the Lu-Ban organization is also the biggest one among all the religious organization of job. Nowadays, moreover, two out of 200 Lu-Ban organizations—Jiin-Sen-Shin in Lukang and Cheau-Sheng in Tungshin are the most dynamic in Taiwan. Generally speaking, there are two functions of Lu-Ban organization. One is to hold religious ceremony and unite people of the same trade. The other is to effect profoundly local industrial development.
Up to the present, Lu-Ban organization faces the problem—needs to be transformed. The problem is probably resulted from the changing of economic structure, and the severe competition of exported- and imported-market. “Industrial Culturalization” and “Cultural Industrialization” may be the key to the problem. That is, the transformation of the Lu-Ban organization needs these two factors, and help from the government and civil industry.
The current study is to compare the two Lu-Ban organizations—Jiin-Sen-Shin and Cheau-Sheng. The focus is to discuss the differences of industrial cultural activity between these two organizations, and the influence of the organization upon local industry as well.
