The study adopts the quantitative method to collect data through reading the related literature with the use of computational statistical packages. Data is collected from the interview with the women who are above 55 in the country area in Yunlin county. There are effective samples of 210 copies. According to the findings, several conclusions are made as follows. 1. The leisure activities of rural elder women are inclined to become diversified. 2. The frequency of participation in leisure activities is a significant variable in affecting leisure attitude and recreation education. 4. The discrepancy in ages has little influence in the aspects of leisure attitude, but it does make prominent difference to the demand for leisure education. 5. The discrepancy in the level of education has significant effect on leisure attitude, but the demand for education doesn’t show such tendency. 6. The better the rural elder women’s financial situation is, the more positive attitude they have towards leisure. Nevertheless, such tendency doesn’t show in the women with worse finance in the aspects of the demand for leisure education. 7. The organization of family doesn’t have large influence on the attitude towards leisure and the demand for leisure education. 8. The elder women who have more self awareness toward their health have better leisure attitude. 9. Those rural women asking their partners to join in the leisure activities with them have better leisure attitude, but their demand for leisure education isn’t significantly higher than those who do not have partners. 10. Transportation is an important variable in affecting the attitude towards leisure and the demand for leisure education. According to the findings of the research, some suggestions are made as follows. 1. Every village forms a guiding team for recreation activity. (The organization of a guiding team for recreation activities in each village is recommended.) (1) Voluntary villagers can form a guiding team, providing local residents with a variety of leisure activities. (2) The resources of the government should be distributed to the country area, with the supply of constructive program and facilities to the current community center of the locals in particular. 2. The offer of hospitality and tourism education should be concerned with the age differences. 3. The offer of tourism education should focus on the technical parts, instilling residents with knowledge from dynamic learning to static learning. 4. The government should set aside parts of the expenditure to offer resources, promoting the quality of leisure activities of elder women in rural area. 5. To provide babysitting services to increase willingness of participation in leisure activities among rural elder women. 6. The offer of courses is oriented to health keeping, particularly to those who are aware of their health not being in a good condition. 7. To encourage rural elder women to take part in leisure activities with their partners. 8. To provide convenient transportation services to reduce the obstacles of participating in leisure activities among rural elder women.
