Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 92 === A 2.4GHz transceiver for WLAN and Bluetooth coexistence operation is investigated in this thesis; especially the electromagnetic interference of these two transceivers laid out on the same board. The dual-standard coexistence RF module is realized with SiW1711( Bluetooth IC), RF2959(WLAN IC) and other key circuits. The EVM performance of WLAN signal is degraded by the frequency and power level of the interfered Bluetooth signals. When the WLAN is on the transmit mode, the measured EVM of an OFDM-64QAM 54Mbps signal is less than 5.6 % if Bluetooth hops at least 20MHz away from WLAN frequency. When the WLAN is on the receive mode, the effect of Bluetooth interference becomes significant. Except strong WLAN reception signal, the general WLAN signal is interfered seriously by Bluetooth, where WLAN signal can’t be synchronized. Detail measurements of coexistence interference are described in the thesis.
