Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 化工與材料工程研究所 === 92 === In this study, PEEK/organoclay composites were prepared through melt- and solution mixing techniques. Two commercial organoclays (denoted 20A and 30B) and three grades of PEEK (450G, 450PF and 150PF) were used for the composites preparation. Thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), wide angle X-ray diffractometer (WAXD), scanning electron microscope/energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (SEM/EDX), and dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA) were employed for the samples characterization including dispersibility of organoclays in the matrix and the thermal properties. The results indicated that the PEEK/organoclay nanocomposites were hardly formed irrespective of the preparation techniques. Generally, the PEEK/organoclay composites showed inferior thermal properties to that of neat PEEK’s.
