Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 92 === This thesis aims to study the effects and improvement of momentary voltage sag to the stall of induction motors and the subsequent voltage collapse. First, the steady state and dynamic equations of induction motor are described. After that, the load power demand and it’s effect to voltage stability of a radial distribution system are discussed. Using the steady state equations of induction motor builds the influence of voltage sag to possible motor stall and subsequent voltage collapse caused by reacceleration. Accordingly, the critical clearing time for these two cases are built. Furthermore, the feasibility of applying the HBT(High speed bus transfer) to avoid induction motor stall are discussed. Finally, the power system simulation program, Matlab/Simulink, is employed for simulations to verify the effectness of the proposed evaluation method.
