The schematics and elements are all simulated by Aglient’s EDA-ADS RF designer. The tunable range for this oscillator is from 5.138GHz to 5.423GHz. When the tunable voltage is set to one, the output power is 3.89dBm, and the phase noise is -118.3dBc/Hz. Also when the voltage of the source is set to 1.8V, the tunable range will be from 5.138GHz to 5.423GHz. the tunable voltage will have a range of 0.5V~1.8V, and the oscillator will have a gain of 219 MHz/V.
