碩士 === 中原大學 === 工業工程研究所 === 92 === The purpose of this study is to simulate the policies of lot sizing, such as LFL、POQ、EOQ、SM、WW and the current purchasing method used by the N co. as a case study, and to compare the total cost of these policies under the non-deteriorating effect and deteriorating effect of items. More than 60% of enterprises in many countries are small and medium size enterprises. They are very important to these countries, but there are many problems facing small and medium size companies, such as manpower, sales marketing, production, technical, and financial etc, as there are less resourses available to the people working in these small and medium size companies. How to help them to do a good job is a worthy goal of the study. This study selects one item of non-deteriorating stock and one item of deteriorating stock.. The dates observed are form 2004/4/1 to 2004/4/16, and from 2004/5/3 to 2004/5/17. Then to simulate the policies of lot sizing, such as LFL、POQ、EOQ、SM、WW and the current purchasing method used by the N co, finding the lowest total related cost by simulating these methods. This study shows lot sizing policy of the lowest total related cost is WW at non-deteriorating items. The lot sizing policy of the lowest total related cost is WW and SM at deteriorating items. After the current purchasing method is improved by combining with POQ rule. The total related cost will decrease 20% to 50%.
