碩士 === 中原大學 === 宗教研究所 === 92 === Abstract The Studies on The Christian Character of Bingxin Literature Chapter One: Introduction. It is mainly discussed in the (A) research topic,(B) research motive,(C) research instruction,(D)Bingxin’s biography. My thesis is chiefly divided in three chapters, except for the Chapter One: Introduction as well as Chapter Five: Conclusion. Chapter Two: The Historical Background of Bingxin. It is mainly discussed on Bingxin and May 4 Patriotic Trend, New Culture Movement, Modern Mandarin Literature as well as the development of Christian Education in China. I will discuss the development of the literature of Bingxin according to her background and era. Chapter Three: Bingxin’s Love and Beauty. I will analysis the Christian literature in the Bingxin Collective. Furthermore, I will relate Bingxin’s concept of nature/universe, the dialogue of self-life so that the definition of love and beauty will be re-examed. Chapter Four: The Christian Character in Bingxin’s literature. The main methods are analysis of the text, interpretation of the text and deduction of the text. There are also three subtitles in this chapter. Chapter Five: Conclusion. I will conclude some of Bingxin articles, written from 1919 to 1949,containing Christian character.
