Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系碩士班 === 92 === The purpose of this study is to make researches into current status and caution of job design, job boredom, social support, leisure participation and life satisfaction of nursing staffs. This research is based on the nursing staff working in the medical center, sampled and investigated in a random way by questionnaire. Data was collected, total 400 questionnaires with 318 valid ones, and analyzed by Reliability Analysis, Descriptive Statistics, MANOVA, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The conclusion of the research is summarized as follows : 1. In general, nursing staffs deem their job design to be appropriate, with higher social support , but lower in the participation of leisure activity; however, as a whole, they are satisfied with their lives. 2. The leisure activities participated by nursing staffs mostly are resting activities , in sequence are watching TV; listing to music; reading book/newspaper/magazine; getting on Internet and doing the window shopping. On the contrary, the least ones are sporting activities, in turn, they are : going to gem ; learning skill/acquirement ; joining society activity; attending music concert; going swimming and participating religion activity. 3. The level of sensitivity of nursing staffs on job design would affect on the job boredom. 4. The level of social support would have an influence on the frequency of leisure participation. 5. The job design , job boredom and social support of nursing staffs would affect their life satisfaction and social support is the one which affects mostly ;therefore, the life satisfaction could be predicted by social support. 6. Leisure participation of nursing staffs wouldn’t have an influence on the life satisfaction , what is more, social support would not affect the life satisfaction indirectly by way of leisure participation either. According to this study’s result, we consider the unties concerned of nursing could inspect the internal communication channel, enhancing the social support to the nursing staffs, improving the working environment; training the leisure concept of nursing staffs and improving the arrangement of human resources. We also suggest the researcher in the future could expand and add the research samples and variables to make the outcome more objective, complete and representative.
