The research began by referring to relevant theory in strategies of domestic and international competitions, and also the publications issued by various organizations of the industry. Furthermore, the prospectus, annual report of the corporation-in-study was collected and analyzed, and then, some site semi-structured interviews with executive and department managers of the corporation were made simultaneously. Finally, the research comes to the following conclusions in line of the characteristics and future competitive strategies of fastener industry: (1) The demand for fastener will continue; (2) Fastener industry needs the complete support of steel and iron mills; (3) The price elasticity of fastener products is low, therefore, the production and marketing activities must be maintained in an orderly way in this industry; (4) Producers of captioned product are lack of active abilities of developing and designing new products for the end users ; (5) It is necessary for companies in this sector to transfer their business into the market of mid and high value products; (6) For market of aircraft-used fasteners, companies in this industry are still keep in the evaluation stage .
