However most of these problems can be cataloged as repeating works or data searching types. Up to now, we civil engineers are still tally counted on a personal computer for problems shooting or analyzing without resorting to other resources over Internet and share with others. The major point of this study is to propose the idea of using database to solve engineering problems without physically computation as in traditional problem solvers. By using a database formed by a set of pre computed data as well as some interpolating technique, rational final solutions can be easily obtained by this study. The blooming growth Internet usages encourage us to look for getting the best out of its benefit, the use of database in replace of traditional computing process in engineers may bring prospect future in problem solving is one of the main themes today. This study uses the ASP.NET formula to develop a general purpose query interface problem. Via Internet and the database prepared by this study, a user can easily obtain results from a remote computer. Unlike the traditional analysis programs focuses on computing safety factor for a task, any possible parameter or parameters can be assigned as unknown in this study, and results as well as friendly communication popup in screen in no time. In order to have a general purpose interface program for solving some typical civil engineering analysis problems, an unique format for database generation is proposed, thus this interface program can serve for almost any analysis problems related to continuous mechanics. Also, any remote database is allowable to be accessed and executed by this interface program. Yin-Ping Huang 黃逸萍 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 78 zh-TW
