For noise controlling, building the noise barriers has been considering for a long time as the common solution. However, it seems not and shouldn’t be the only key answer. The improved pavement on road has been verified to obtain the efficiency of road noise attenuation. This research is based on the standard of regulation SPB of ISO11819-1、sandpath、permeated test and other related theories. To utilize volume、permeation and grain of pavement for collecting the database on different pavements and other factors interaction by testing ground on 2 sections of concrete pavement and 4 sections of flexible pavement on National High Way3. The application for Cadna- A, a noise module predict software, tries to figure out the noise characters. The vital purpose is making a better application to cohere with the locality and inspire the accuracy. The result indicates the obvious influences exist in different road pavements. The maximum of traffic noise on concrete pavement is higher than on flexible pavement. And noise was surly related to the tapes of vehicles, the bigger the noisier. The research also reveals describing the traffic noise character by permeation is a better solution; the noise volume of aged pavement we took was much louder than newer ones due to the naturally consumed even in the same material. Thus, the effect of sound attenuation is not working well either. L90 is regarded to a accurate direction as a background sound source after data processing. The difference is lied on between -0.9至+2.25 dB from the comparison of predict and the testing ground on local pavement. Besides, the sound resource approximate in a distance 20 meters away from roadside has been taken as well. The final result leq meets the environmental protection standard concerning traffic noise volume for day time in a restrict area (71db~76db) which really is an inspired signification. Keyword : type of pavement, grain of pavement, method of SPB, traffic noise Pei-Liu 劉霈 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 94 zh-TW
