Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 機械工程學所 === 92 === The thesis presents software methods to compensate for the errors in contouring machining applications. First of all, we proposed a compensation method for repetitive machining process. In the proposed method, the profile of the first machined part is measured, and then the contour error along the tool path is calculated and used to correct the CNC tool path for machining of the subsequent parts. Secondly, we propose a compensation method that is based on prediction of the contour error. We first measure the tool error, then obtain the machine error through low-feedrate and small-depth cutting, and then obtain the deflection error due to cutting force. Finally, the combined sources of the tool error, machine error, and deflection error are utilized to predict the machined contour and to correct the tool path for compensation.
