The research has used the survey questionnaires for data collecting. The pretest has been carried out right after the inventory of questionnaire was accomplished. We have choosing the freshmen of the National Taipei University and Catholic Fu-Jen University as the object of our pretest. There are 86 valid questionnaires were collected. These questionnaires have been screened by various analysis which including item analysis, validity analysis and reliability analysis for the use in formal questionnaire surveying. There are eight inventory table have been used in the questionnaire. They are personality inventory, learning style inventory, learning motivation inventory, on-line learning attitudes inventory, learning satisfaction inventory and learning performance inventory. After the formal questionnaire has been confirmed and we got accent from Far Easton Telecommunications Co, the survey was performed in the employees of Far Easton Telecommunications Co. There are 93 valid samples were collected. We have performed some analyses which including factor analysis, reliability analysis, average, standard deviation, ANOVA, independent-samples T test, chi-square test, correlation analysis, stepwise multi-regression analysis and so on. The results showed individual variance and learning performance is related in the on-line learning environment. The findings of the study also revealed there was a strong correlation between personality traits and learning satisfaction level, between personality traits and learning performance, between learning motivation and satisfaction level, between on-line learning attitudes and satisfaction level, between on-line learning attitudes and performance, between self-directed learning and satisfaction level, and between self-directed learning and performance. According to the results of this research, we highly suggest that the enterprise should understand individual learning characteristics and learning behavior from learner and make proper planning for the on-line learning class to fulfill the need from learner. To promote the learning satisfaction and learning performance, we also suggest the enterprise should train the employee to have the on-line learning capability with self-guiding.
